Great Books Deserve to Be Found

Thousands of books are published independently every year. Some are extraordinary. Many disappear beneath bestseller lists, advertising budgets, and algorithms before the readers who would love them ever know they exist.

The Literary Cache was created to help change that.

We’re building a place where readers can discover remarkable fiction and nonfiction from independent authors and small presses—books they might never encounter through the usual bestseller lists or recommendation algorithms.

The goal is simple: help good books find the readers who have been looking for them.

Discovery Before Popularity

The Literary Cache isn’t built around bestseller rankings, advertising budgets, or how many reviews a book already has.
It’s built around discovery.

Readers can explore books by genre, themes, setting, audience, and other details that help answer a much more interesting question:
“What would I enjoy reading?”

Some books in the Cache may be brand new. Others may have been available for years without ever receiving the attention they deserved.
What matters here isn’t how famous a book is.

It’s whether it might be the right book for the reader who finds it.

Readers Come First

The Literary Cache exists first and foremost to help readers find books worth discovering.
That means keeping the experience useful, trustworthy, and focused on books—not advertising.

Authors will have opportunities to purchase additional visibility through clearly identified features and promotions.
But paid promotion will never be presented as an editorial recommendation.

Featured means promoted. A Cache Pick means we chose it. Money won’t blur the difference.
