About The Literary Cache
The Literary Cache is a book-discovery platform designed to help readers discover books from independent authors and small presses.
The Literary Cache does not currently sell books directly. Book listings may contain links to Amazon, other retailers, publishers, author websites, or other third-party services where books may be purchased or obtained.
User Accounts
Certain features may require users or authors to create an account.
You are responsible for providing accurate information and for maintaining the security of your account. You may not impersonate another person, misrepresent your identity or authority, or use an account for fraudulent or unlawful purposes.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Submission Guidelines.
Book Submissions
Books may be submitted by authors, publishers, rights holders, or authorized representatives.
By submitting a book, you confirm that:
- You have the right or authorization to submit the book and associated materials.
- The information you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
- Your submission complies with our Submission Guidelines.
- Your submission does not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights of another person or organization.
Submission does not guarantee acceptance or continued inclusion in The Literary Cache.
We may approve, decline, edit for formatting or categorization, or remove listings when reasonably necessary to maintain the accuracy, usefulness, security, or integrity of the site.
Your Content and Copyright
You retain ownership of the content you submit.
By submitting book covers, descriptions, author photographs, biographies, excerpts, or other materials, you grant The Literary Cache a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, resize, format, and use those materials as reasonably necessary to operate and promote The Literary Cache and your listing.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your work to The Literary Cache.
If you remove a listing or request its removal, we will stop intentionally using its submitted materials for new promotions within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, backup, or recordkeeping purposes.
Book Information and Reader Guidance
Authors and other submitters are responsible for providing accurate information about their books, including genre, description, intended audience, content guidance, availability, and purchasing links.
Reader-guidance information is provided to help readers make informed choices. The Literary Cache does not independently verify every statement supplied by an author or publisher.
Editorial Selections and Paid Promotion
The Literary Cache may offer paid promotional opportunities, including featured placements, new-release spotlights, newsletter features, or similar services.
Paid promotional placements will be distinguished from independent editorial selections where appropriate.
Payment for promotion does not purchase an editorial recommendation or guarantee a Cache Pick.
Editorial selections are made independently at the discretion of The Literary Cache.
Third-Party Links and Purchases
The Literary Cache may link to third-party websites and services.
We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, privacy practices, purchasing policies, fulfillment, or other activities.
Any purchase or transaction made through a third-party website is between you and that third party.
The Literary Cache may eventually use affiliate links and may receive a commission when a reader makes a qualifying purchase through certain links. When required, affiliate relationships will be disclosed.
Availability of the Service
We work to keep The Literary Cache available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access.
Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued as the service develops.

We reserve the right to decline, suspend, edit, or remove listings or other content that violates these Terms, our Submission Guidelines, applicable law, or the rights of others.
We may also remove abandoned, inaccurate, unavailable, duplicated, or misleading listings when necessary to maintain the usefulness of the Cache.
Disclaimer
The Literary Cache is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We do not guarantee book sales, readership, reviews, rankings, website traffic, promotional results, or other outcomes from a listing or promotion.
The presence of a book in The Literary Cache does not constitute an endorsement of every statement, opinion, or viewpoint expressed in that book.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Literary Cache and its owners, operators, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the website or its services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
